Screening and Awards Presentation Event
This year, Dragonfly celebrates even more filmmakers with two days of screenings showcasing outstanding short films from around the world. Winners are announced during our Screening and Awards Presentation - an evening of red carpet moments, networking, and celebration.
The evening will commence with an informal reception, with photographers on hand to capture your red carpet moment.
Our screenings are more than just film viewings; they are a space where filmmakers and audiences connect.
Selected films are showcased on the big screen, followed by opportunities to meet creators, ask questions, and network. Every nominated filmmaker receives promotion through trailers, social media, and festival press, because we believe every film deserves to be seen.
For each category in turn, a short trailer of nominees will be shown, followed by the announcement of runner-up and winner. Winners and runners-up will be presented with trophies and certificates and given the opportunity to say a few words.
